Our flight

Why us

Have you ever wanted something so bad you can taste it? Well ours taste like jerky. Tough with lots of flavor.

Fun facts

As of May 11th our concept was faced on going the distance. Beating the world record and having the crowd go absolutely insane! Which it still is! Then on May 19th and 20th the design that was on our plane changed. We wanted to dedicate our plane to this great state of Oklahoma! Moore and other parts were devastated by tornados. So having the American Flag and Oklahoma Flag on our plane was our way of representing our state! The concept behind the rocket being "redneck" is still the same. Our team being somewhat country rednecks thought that we would show that side of us.

Garrett, our pilot, will take his first flight ever in a plane... A flugtag plane that is! He has never flown anywhere, except he plans on flying farther than anyone on September 21st! He is a DJ, promoter for Life in Color, on a yard crew at a factory, helps remodel houses, and loves kicking butt!
Colby is a high endurance individual who hates to lose! Colby, Zane, and Garrett took 3rd place in Red Bull Land Rush and saw flugtag as a way to redeem himself!
Erin is a fun, intelligent young lady that is going to keep the guys of the group focused and on task!
Paul is the brains, welder, yeah, pretty much everything that us young guns can't do!
Zane brings the strength and will be great for pushing Garrett all the way to beating that world record!

Either way, we know that our Redneck ingenuity, lack of aeronautic knowledge, and duct tape will provide smooth sailing from here! That is unless that Oklahoma wind blows the garage over on our plane...
