Throughout ancient Polynesian times, travel was conducted by way of sailing canoes. Our team is taking the old traditional ways and mixing them with modern technology to see if had the right idea. The concept of our craft is modeled after the Polynesian double-hulled voyaging canoe that brought our ancestors from Tahiti to Hawaii, equipped with a platform in between for our pilot and a sail. The sail will also double as a wing upon takeoff. if our predictions aren't correct and can't fly, we know we still have our canoe as our ancestors did and can paddle away.
Why the name Aloha Stadium? Well, we have no affiliation with the sports complex that hosts the NFL Pro Bowl, but our group came together as friends from different islands in college and were infamous for throwing some outrageous parties and always being up to crazy shenanigans. Someone nicknamed the group "Aloha Stadium" one day, and the name stuck.
